08/11/2022 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | I MET WITH TFD INSPECTOR JOE CASTRO AT THIS PROPERTY ON 8/04/2022 ALMOST ONE MONTH AFTER TFD HAD ISSUED A NOTICE OF VIOLATION FOR SEVERAL ISSUES TO BE ABATED AND TO THIS POINT HAS RECEIVED NO FOLLOW UP, TFD ASKED IF C/E COULD STEP IN AND HELP OUT. WE VISITED THE SITE, FOUND 3 PEOPLE SQUATTING OUTSIDE THE STRUCTURE, THEY WERE ASKED TO LEAVE AND DID, THERE WERE 2 MALES AND A FEMALE. THE FEMALE WAS WALKING THE SIDEWALK AREA WHEN 3 PEOPLE, 2 MALES AND A FEMALE CROSSED THE STREET AND THE FEMALE IMMEDIATELY BEGAN TO BEAT UP THE FEMALE THAT WE HAD ASKED TO LEAVE THE FAMILY DOLLAR PROPERTY. HER FACE AND ARMS WERE VERY BLOODY, I INFORMED THE TRIO THAT TPD WAS CALLED AND ON THEIR WAY AND THEY SCATTERED, THE GIRL GOT ON A BIKE AND TOOK OFF THE TWO MEN WALKED AND DISAPPEARED IN THE 1240 W AJO APARTMENTS. TFD AND C/E CONTINUED TO WALK THE PROPERTY GOING OVER THE ISSUES TFD HAD ON THEIR NOTICE. WE MET WITH FAMILY DOLLAR REGIONAL MANAGER BRENDA, AND WE WENT OVER ALL ISSUES WITH HER. BRENDA IMMEDIATELY PUT IN A WORK ORDER TO HAVE THE PROPERTY CLEANED OF VEGETATION AND TRASH. I HAVE CONTINUALLY TRIED CONTACTING REGIONAL MANAGER CALVIN VAN OUT OF PHOENIX BUT HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE AND RECIEVED NO RETURN CALLS. ONE WEEK LATER BRINGS ME TO TODAYS DATE, I WAS INFORMED THAT BRENDA IS ON LEAVE AND CURRENT MANAGER IS UNAWARE OF ANYTHING THAT HAS GONE ON. TODAYS MANAGER PUT IN A WORK ORDER FOR A ONE DAY TURN AROUND TIME, I WAS LATER CONTACTED BY THE CLEAN UP CONTRACTOR, WE MET ON SITE 30 MINUTES LATER AND WENT OVER WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AS FAR AS CLEANING THE GRASS,WEEDS, DEAD VEGETATION AND TRASH AND DEBRIS, PROPERTY LINES WERE ALSO POINTED OUT SO THAT EVERYTHING GOT CLEANED. A NOTICE OF VIOLATION WAS ALSO ISSUED FOR SOME FREEZER CASES INSIDE THAT WERE OUT OF ORDER, AND A REQUEST TO PLACE A FENCE AROUND THE A/C AND ELECTRICAL SERVICE EQUIPMENT AS HOMELESS KEEP TURNING OFF THE A/C UNITS, SLEEP AND GOING TO THE BATHROOM ON AND AROUND THE EQUIPMENT. WORK ORDERS WERE PLACED FOR ALL ISSUE BY THE CURRENT WORKING MANAGER, WHO IS THE AREA MANAGER FOR BISBEE. I TRIED CONTACTING CORPORATE WAS FORWARDED TO KERRY WHITE, I GOT A VOICEMAIL THAT KERRY WHITE WAS NOT IN, I DID LEAVE A VOICEMAIL ASKING THAT SHE CONTACT ME. |
