Arrived and the units have cleared and was advised that the water is off at the main water valve for the building. The water leak is unit #181 in the kitchen area coming from the ceiling. The drywall was loose and was pulled down and no water lines in the area. Has a upper floor for the unit and the bathroom is not in the area. Did call the management and they are sending plumbers. The maintenance supervisor showed and looked at the area and removed more drywall to check for plumbing in the area and found none. Did see where the toilet is draining and in line with the leak. The wax bowl ring was changed with new including the angle stop for the toilet. All the work was done and put the water back on and the area was still leaking water. They were going to cut the floor to check where the water is coming from. The maintenance supervisor signed the paperwork and I left the site. They will stay until they find out where the water is coming from. RV. |
