07/05/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site to check the property for the RV. and the RV was on site again. The area in-between the 2-properties is being blocked with vehicles and a trailer for hauling. The rear yard is not completed on being cleaned up. Did call the tenant and let her know what's going on the property. The tenant was out of town and was trying to call the boyfriend to let him know that I was on the property. Did talk to the neighbor and the RV pulled up yesterday in the late afternoon and was still there. The neighbor was going to call the Ward 4 office to go over on what is going on. Did call the owner and left a message. While on site making calls the person driving the RV came outside to move some of the items on the side of the RV. The tenants boyfriend also came outside to start moving the vehicles and the trailer. Will notify Section 8 and send an N.O.V. to the owner. RV.
06/28/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site with inspector Lopez and the RV was removed from the property. The items that are left on the property will be remove by tomorrow. Did meet with the tenant due to found out she is under Section 8. Did go over that the status of Section 8 can be removed if the property is not cleaned. Did check the main electrical panel on the exterior and found extension cord going to a water heater insta-hot and the natural wire is being used for the 220V and was hot when touched. The wire was stranded wire and was under sized for the water heater on a 50 AMP breaker. They have no permit for the water heater being added or the added circuit. The breaker was turned off and they will call an electrician to make the needed changes and get the permit. Did go over the property needing to be cleaned and will check on Friday. RV.
