Arrived and found an extension cord in the rear of the house and going to 3901 (A) E. 17th St. and connected to a service outlet at the main electrical panel by the washer machine in the rear of the house. The extention cords were taped up at the ends to prevent water from getting to the plug ends. The extention cords were removed and left a card on the door to call me back at 3901 A E. 17th St. Did call T.P.D. to come to the site and called the oncall inspector of the call. The owner was called to let him know of the issues and why on the property. Did let him know that I was on the property for awhile due to the doors were opened and was not sure why and was checking if being broken into. While removing the extention cords did see someone going into the white storage room but only saw the rear of his body. Did call Arcaiden Industries to have the property rescured. The posting of Do Not Enter were still in place of the main house. Did call T.P.D. earlier and was cancelled due to the house was secured and was leaving the site. Did call T.P.D. back that calls were coming in on that they are getting back into the storage room. The House was secured once the rear door was screwed back on. T.P.D. case #2207120161 for today. While waiting to enter the rear yard area saw 3-males and one female was in the house. Do have 3-large dogs and 13-puppies in the rear yard. Was able to check the electrical panel and the meter was tampered with and the locking seals are removed and the ring is loose with the meter not all the way into the socket. The meter was removed and call Tony from T.E.P. that I have the meter and will meet tomorrow to take the meter. Did let the tenants know that they will need to leave the site and find somewhere else to stay until the electrical has been re-stored. Was trying to call the owner and the phone number did not work. The tenants call the owner and I did talk to the owner and went over why the tenants are not allowed to remain in the house. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the door secured with plywood. At this time will be leaveing the windows not boarded up and the windows have been locked from the interior. |
