Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared the site and the fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. The fire was in the master bedroom and bathroom and burned into the hallway. Had a bay window and the glass has broken by the heat of the fire. The drywall was pulled down from the ceiling to check for fire in the attic area and the walls are burned. The electrical and gas have been removed at the meters due to the amount of damage of the fire. Has heavy smoke damage through out and the doors have burned, some windows are cracked due to the heat of the fire and the floor has puddles of water through out. The owner was injuried in the fire and was transported to the hospital. Was not able to find a relative and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have th property secured. Posted the paperwork on the wall by the front door and the neighbor has the key to the house of the front door. Did post a Do Not Enter on the front window. The garage door is screwed shut. The wood framing has been charred in several areas where the fire burned through drywall or has a light fixture or mechanical device. The heating and cooling is in the attic in the hallway and will need to be checked for heat damage or cleaning. The fire units had to be called back twice due to the house had smoke and found hot spots. Had to cut out some wood framing due to kept smoking in the ceiling area in the master bedroom to the hallway. |
