05/17/2022 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, MET WITH MANAGER WHO STATED THEY SPOKE WITH THE OCCUPANT, MAINTANENCE WENT OVER FIXED THE COOLING AND CAULKED THE TUB. I THEN MET WITH THE OCCUPANT WHO STATED THERE IS STILL WATER LEAKING FROM THE CEILING. I FOUND A BOWL FILLED WITH WATER, OCCUPANT STATED SHE CHECKS FREQUENTLY. I WENT UPSTAIRS, THE TUB WAS NOT ON AND THERE WAS STILL WATER DRIPPING FROM THE CEILING AND I FOUND NO CRAWL SPACE TO GET UNDER THE TUB/SHOWER TO LOCATE A LEAK. THERE WERE WATER BUBBLES IN THE PAINT, AND TAPE COMING OFF THE CEILING AT THE TAPE JOINTS. I CHECKED THE COOLING AND IT HAD BEEN REPAIRED BY MAINTANENCE. I ISSUED A NOV WHILE ON SITE TO REMOVE THE DRYWALL CEILIING IN BATHROOM OF #901, LOCATE THE LEAK COMING FROM #905 AND THEN REPLACING THE DRYWALL. TAPE TEXTURE AND PAINT TO MATCH THE EXISTING. |
