THE WEST PORTION OF THE STRUCTURE A SCREENED IN PORCH IS NOT SECURED BUT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO SECURE FOR C/E OR THE OWNER. OWNER IS IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING ALL WANTED ITEMS. C/E HAS NO FURTHER ISSUES AT THIS TIME. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
08/03/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved RETURNED TO THE PROPERTY, CONTACTED JUAN VALDEZ AND INFORMED HIM OF MY FINDINGS, EXPLAINED THE WEST STORAGE ROOM WAS UNSECURED AND THAT IT WOULD BE COSTLY TO SECURE THE STORAGE ROOM. JUAN ASKED THAT AT THIS TIME I POST THE UNIT WITH A EMERGENCY VACATE PLACARD. I DID POST THE UNIT AND ISSUED A NOV THAT WAS ALSO POSTED ON THE FRONT WINDOW. TRIED CONTACTING THE OWNER A SECOND TIME AND AGAIN LEFT A MESSAGE.
LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER WHO STATED HE WAS AT THE PROPERTY ON SATURDAY, CONTACTED A PERSON TO CLEAN THE EXTERIOR AND HELP MINIMIZING THE STUFF IN THE STORAGE AREA AND SECURING THE STORAGE AREA. HE SENT ME A TEXT FROM THE CLEAN UP PERSON, WHO CONTACTED TWO PEOPLE FOR A 40 YARD ROLL OFF AND CONTACTED A BUSINESS FOR A POD AND WILL BEGIN WORK ON MONDAY 8/08, I WILL FOLLOW UP TO SEE THAT WORK HAS BEGUN. OWNER ASKED IF I WOULD FORGOE A NOTICE FOR THE CLEAN UP AND I TOLD HIM I WOULD LET HIM KNOW ON MONDAY.
08/01/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, WALKED THE EXTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE, TALL GRASS AND WEEDS OVERGROWN AND DEAD VEGETATION WERE FOUND. THERE WAS NO WATER TO THE PROPERTY BUT APPEARED TO HAVE ELECTRICITY, I CHECKED OPENINGS, MANY OF THE DOORS WERE SECURED, WINDOWS HAD BARS. THE ISSUE WAS THE WEST STORAGE AREA OR SCREENED IN PORCH, IT WAS FOUND UNSECURED, TWO SCREEN DOORS HAD BEEN OPENED AND INTERIOR BELONGINGS HAD BEEN GONE THRU. A WINDOW TO THE MAIN STRUCTURE HAD ALSO BEEN BROKEN BUT WAS CHAINED AND LOCKED. TRIED CONTACTING OWNER BUT LEFT A MESSAGE. I LEFT THE PROPERTY DUE TO A EMERGENCY CALL AND WILL RETURN TOMORROW TO CONTINUE OR SECURE.
