They are completed and was checking if the house has electrical on. While checking extension cord in the front did find AC window units on and the extension cord had power. Did call T.E.P. and the power has been removed since December of 2019. T.E.P. did come to the site and was able to find where wires have been added to the top of the breaker and they by-passed the meter into the gutter area. The wires were added to the wires in the gutter from the riser with a screw and were not protected with insulation or tape. The screws were removed by T.E.P. and the meter was removed and covered with a blank cover. The unit has no electrical on at this time and did knock on the door and windows and got no answer. Did place the paperwork on the front wall by the door next to the warrant that was served for the clean up on the property. While on site doing the paperwork on the computer, 6-people came out of the house. Did ask if they heard us knocking on the door and windows and they said no that they just got up. Did give a card to one of the people due to they want to get their clothes out to leave the site. This owner has done this before with getting the electrical from the neighbors cooler on the roof or the light in the alley in the common area. RV. |
