08/01/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND OWNER WAS COMPLETING A FINAL WALK THRU WITH THE OCCUPANT. WHEN I MET WITH THE OWNER HE EXPLAINED THAT HE RECENTLY BOUGHT THE PROPERTY. ALL THREE UNITS WERE OCCUPIED AT THE TIME. HE ALLOWED ALL TENANTS IN THE THREE UNITS TO COMPLETE THE TIME LEFT ON THE LEASE BUT INFORMED ALL THAT HE WOULD NOT BE RENEWING ANY LEASES AND THIS WAS SO HE COULD CLEAN AND MAKE ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS. LEASES WERE UP AT THE END OF JULY. ALL TENANTS WERE IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING OUT. I FOUND THE EXTERIOR OF THE FRONT TWO UNITS TO BE VERY CLEAN, UNWANTED FURNITURE WAS BEING REMOVED AND PILED IN THE ALLEY FOR PICK UP BY THE OWNER WHO HAS A LARGE TRAILER AND WILL TAKE UNWANTED BELONGINGS TO THE DUMP. THE EXTERIOR OF EACH BUILDING HAS BEEN PAINTED AND CERTAIN TREES AND SHRUBS REMOVED OUTSIDE BUT VERY CLEAN. THE INTERIOR OF UNIT ONE AND TWO DID HAVE MINOR REPAIRS REQUIRED BUT NOTHING THAT REQUIRES A PERMIT, AND MOSTLY CLEANING AND PAINTING. NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE IN UNIT ONE BUT AGAIN REPAIRS SUCH AS PAINTING, FLOORING, REPLACING DOORS, HEAVY CLEANING. NO WORK IS BEING DONE AT THIS TIME BUT MAY GET A FUTURE COMPLAINT WHEN ANY TYPE OF WORK BEGINS. THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
