02/19/2022 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, UPON ARRIVAL FOUND TFD AND EXITED THE SCENE, BUT I MET WITH TFD CAPTAIN WHO INFORMED ME TRAILER WAS A TOTAL LOSS, NOBODY INJURED. THERE WAS A YOUND MOTHER WITH TWO CHILDREN, HER BROTHER WAS CONTACTED AND CONTACTED RED CROSS. OCCUPANTS WERE STAYING WITH THE NEIGHBOR NEXT DOOR. MY INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE EAST END OR FRONT OF THE TRAILER FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE LIVINGROOM AREA IN THE CENTER OF THE TRAILER WAS COMPLETELY BURNED, ELECTRICAL AND WIRING LEFT EXPOSED AND FIRE DAMAGED AS WELL. EXTERIOR WALLS IN THE FRONT KITCHEN AREA WAS ALL BURNED LEAVING ONLY THE METAL SIDING IN MOST PLACES. THE FRONT COVERED PORCH AND DECKING ALSO HEAVILY FIRE DAMAGED AND DECKING UNSAFE. THE REAR PORTION OF THE TRAILER RECEIVED HEAVY SMOKE AND WATER DAMAGE. I WOULD CONSIDER THE TRAIELR A TOTAL LOSS. TWO CARS OUTSIDE THE TRAILER ALSO RECEIVED SOME FIRE DAMAGE, ONE CAR WAS MOVED AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE TO A AREA ACROSS THE STREET, THE SECOND CAR IN FRONT WAS UNABLE TO BE MOVED. INSPECTOR CONTACTED BIFF BAKER TO FENCE THE AREA AROUND THE TRAILER. TEP REMOVED THE METER FROM THE PEDESTAL. A EMERGENCEY VACATE NOV WAS ISSUED TO THE OWNER OF THE TRAILER AND A COPY PROVIDED TO THE TRAILER PARK MANAGERS. OWNERS BROTHER DID ARRIVE TO ASSIST HIS SISTER THE OWNER OF THE TRAILER. OWNER WAS WAITING ON RED CROSS. BIFF BAKER COMPLETED THE FENCING OF THE TRAILER. |
