I walked all of the site and have checked the area in question for non-compliance slopes and grades. It has been determined that the 4 foot area on both sides of the perimeter drain on the outside of the splash pad is non-compliant for Cross Slope. In most areas it exceeds the 2% maximum slope from the drain outward on both sides. This needs to be removed and replaced so that it is back within compliancy limits. A Letter has been submitted stating that this facility was Inspected and Approved by Parks and Recreation Staff and is in Compliance with the Approved Plans and all Codes and Requirements. |
