Per code, condensate drains must terminate onto an absorbent surface, as apposed to the concrete sidewalk where it presently terminates.
Constant dripping will create black mold and green fungi, which will turn into a slippery surface in the walkway.
The alternatives are to cut a drain through and under the sidewalk to an absorbent surface, or pipe it into the tail piece drain of a sink.
These are the only 2 alternatives for this situation. |
