Contact is Michael.Hollar@tucsonaz.gov final location for the sign should be shown on the site plan - verify setback. 2) Sign elevation diagram shows 30' setback from leading edge of sign to face of street curb. However, site plan shows only a 20' setback from face of curb to leading edge of sign. Clarify for both the sign permit process and the TRE. (The minimum setback for a monument sign is 20' from f.o.curb.) 3. On sign area - elevation view sheet, just provide note that "address and address bar excluded from sign area". National Electrical Code / Outdoor Lighting Code: 4) A) Provide notation that: digital sign shall be FCC compliant. B) Provide notation that sign is to be controlled by a timer C) Note location of timer D) Provide notation that static sign maximum color temperature is 4400k E) Provide notation that digital sign component shall dim to 200 Nits from sunset to close of business or midnight curfew, and then shut off via timer. F) call out the method of dimming for the digital sign component (i.e. photocell ,etc. and location on the sign) G) add note "for digital sign - maximum rate of change is 1 x per minute - and without animation of any means" H) call out "separate electrical permit required for power to sign" I) list the volts, amps, circuits J) add note where dedicated sign circuit to be located 5) IBC 2018: A) Engineering approved, thank you.
