Arrived and all the units were cleared from the site and found the fire investigator finishing up on the checking for cause of the fire. The fire captain was also on scene and was monitoring who was entering the building due to the amount of damage to the trusses that have burned. The fire was in the kitchen area near the hood system. The fire got into the attic area and vent holes were cut in different areas to check the extension of the fire in the attic. The electric and gas were removed at the meters due to the amount of damage done by the fire. The managers were on site and were able to lock the building and was advised to not let any one in the building after today. The manager did sign the paperwork on site once the building was secured. The interior has a drop ceiling and has fallen in different area around the kitchen area and the serving area. Has heavy smoke damage through out. Did to the posting of Do Not Enter on the east and west side of the building. The owner of the building will be on site tomorrow and the insurance will be called on the fire. RV. |
