Arrived and the unit was clearing the site and found where a light fixture had a socket that melted and the plastic lense caught fire. The fire fighters removed the electrical to the building on the main disconnect on the exterior of the building. The wire was cut from the ceiling to the light fixtures and removed the power to the 3-lights in the rear storage room. Tape was placed on the wires and the electrical was turned back on. Holes were made in the ceiling to check for fire in the attic and found none. The manager for the store was on site and signed the paperwork. When the electrical was turned back on, everthing is working except the 3- lights in the rear storage room. Did go over that the light fixture will need to be replaced and the holes patched and no permit will be required. The business will be able to remain opened. Maintenance came to the site to check the damage and will get another light and start to cover the holes. RV. |
