11/28/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Was called out by communications to a fire after arriving and inspection found the fire started at the rear bedroom of the property property , damages will be rafters to the back two bedrooms ceiling damage to the back section of the house, roof damage to the back section of the house , and smoke damage throughout the property no power or gas to this property. Property is vacant at this time, has been previously boarded up by Arcadia Inc. due to another fire in September due to illegal entry, and possible tampering and damaging interior by possible unauthorized person, property went into crime scene we need to return to secure property when called back.
11/28/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Was called to the site to have the property secured. The fire was in the bedroom on the northwest side of the house. All the drywall was burned and the window was burned and melted. Did have a window unit and the also burned in the fire. The wood framing apprears to not have burned but the overhang has some burning on the wood fly rafter and the sheathig. A vent hole was cut in a bedroom away from the fire area. The plywood that was on the windows has been pulled down and has 2-windows in the front that have been replaced since the last fire in September. The owner does not want the windows screwed into the new windows and will be placing the plywood on the masonry walls. The other windows will be screwed to the window frames due to aged and are metal frames and not vinyl. The owner was not able to have the house secured and called Arciaden Industries to the site to have the house secured. The first fire was in the front of the house and this fire was in the rear of the house. The fire did go through the hallway and has drywall pulled or holes made to check for fire in the walls and the ceilings. The owner has no insurance on the house and stated that a contractor was coming to the site to check on repairing the damage from the fire in the front of the house. The house has been cleaned in the front. Did go over on securing the whole house due to it's the second time of having a fire from the son being in the house. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the house secured. Did a posting of Do Not Enter on the front window on the plywood and left a copy of the N.O.V. to Vacate on the front door. The son was found on the property several times and T.P.D. removed the son and took him to a location to stay for the night. RV.
