10/05/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Office called that the supervisor Martin Romero called to respond to car into house and T.P.D. on site. Arrived and all the units still on site and one truck still in the street and the car was into the house. The exterior walls were masonry with furred out 1x with drywall. There is a 2' x 3' hole where the masonry block was pushed into the house. There was no electrical in the damaged area of the wall. Once the vehicle was removed from the site, found cracks in the motar joints and the wall has been pushed in from the foundation. The foundation may have a crack and not able to tell if new or was there before. The drywall has been pushed in and made a hole and fell off where tore off. There was no electrical found in the wall that was damaged. The cracks go 8' wide x 5' high in areas. Has 2-windows in the area where damaged. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork. The owner will be securing the area once cleaned up. Had a 3' chain link fence that was damaged in the corner of the property, approx. 10 l.f. The owner will be able to remain in the house. All utilities remained on with no damage. The bedroom that was damaged was being used as an office due to working from home. At this time the case will be closed and the owner will be working with his insurance and the person insurance that hit the house. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
