10/04/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH THE OCCUPANT FIRST, OCCUPANT STATED THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR SOMETIME AND MANAGER/ MAINTANENCE WOULD NOT RESPOND. MANAGER WAS RECENTLY FIRED AND A MANAGER FROM ANOTHER PROPERTY HAS TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY AND HAD SENT A PLUMBING COMPANY OUT LAST FRIDAY TO FIND THE LEAK, THEY OPENED THE DRYWALL IN THE CLOSET TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE TUB AND DID FIND WHERE THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM. MC MANAGEMENT THEN CONTACTED THEIR PLUMBERS RAINFOREST PLUMBING. THEY WERE ON SITE TO OPEN THE PLUMBING WALL AND REPAIR THE LEAK. LATER IN THE DAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE MANAGER STATING THAT THE LEAK WAS REPAIRED, THEY WILL WAIT A DAY TO BE SURE THERE IS NO FURTHER LEAKING AND THEN MAKE THE DRYWALL REPAIRS AND REPAIR TILE IN THE SHOWER SURROUND. THEY HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED THE DRYWALL AND TILE PEOPLE FOR THE REPAIRS. THEIR OWN MAINTANENCE PEOPLE WILL TAKE UP THE CARPET IN THE CLOSET AND REPLACE THAT WITH A LINOLIUM FLOORING AFTER WHICH TIME THE CARPET WILL BE SANITIZED THRU OUT THE APARTMENT. WORK IS IN PROGRESS, OCCUPANT HAPPY THAT WORK IS MOVING FORWARD.
