BEFORE I ARRIVED I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE TFD CAPTAIN WHO STATED THE WERE INFORMED THAT THE UNIT IS RENTED OUT BUT THE OCCUPANT IS RARELY THERE AT THE APARTMENT. TFD STATED THAT THEY WERE ALLOWED IN BUT AFTER BEING TOLD THE UNIT WAS VACANT FOUND SOMEBODYS BELONGINGS FILLED THE UNIT BUT NOBODY WAS THERE AT THE TIME OF THEIR INSPECTION. TFD STATED THEY CHECKED THE BEDROOM FOR DAMAGE AND FOUND NO CRACKING AT THE WALLS OR CEILINGS. THERE WAS NO LEAKING AND IN A NUT SHELL, NO DAMAGE. TFD STATED I DID NOT NEED TO RESPOND, I STATED I WAS ALMOST THERE AND WOULD TAKE A LOOK MYSELF.
MY INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE TREE DID NOT FALL, THAT A LARGE LIMB HAD BROKEN OFF AND DID NOT HIT THE BUILDING BUT FELL JUST INFRONT OF THE UNIT AND THE MULTIPLE LIMBS ON THE LARGE BRANCH HELPED IT FROM FALLING ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND BUT WAS BLOCKING THE ENTRY TO THE UNIT ALTHOUGH THERE WAS ROOM TO GET TO THE FRONT DOOR. I KNOCKED ON DOOR AND RECEIVED NO ANSWER. THERE WERE LIGHT ON INSIDE. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING, TREE LIMBS BRUSHED AGAINST THE FRONT PORCH BUT THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE PORCH OR ANY WALLS OR STUCCO. MAINTANENCE WILL NEED TO TRIM THE TREE AND RMOVE THE LIMBS, THERE IS NO DANGER OF THE LARGE LIMB FALLING ANY FURTHER. TFD TAPED OFF THE AREA IN FRONT OF THE UNIT. C/E HAS NO FURTHER ISSUES.
