07/22/2021 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | MET WITH THE MANAGER WHO STATED THEY HAD FOUND NOT A EVICTION NOTICE BUT A 30 DAY NOTICE FROM THE OCCUPANT THAT HE WAS TO VACATE THE UNIT BY JULY 31 AND MANAGER VERIFIED THAT WITH AN AGENCY WHO HELPS HIM WITH HIS RENT. MANAGER MET WITH MYSELF AND MAINTANENCE AT UNIT 206 BUT OCCUPANT WAS NOT HOME AND DID DOOR WAS LOCKED. MANAGER STATED THAT ONCE OCCUPANT LEFT THE UNIT ON THE 31ST THAT MAINTANENCE WOULD NEED TO GO INSIDE AND CLEAN THE UNIT COMPLETELY AND WOULD CHECK FOR PLUMBING LEAKS AT THAT TIME. WE DID CHECK UNIT #202, MAINTANENCE HAD ALREADY CUT A HOLE IN THE BATHROOM CEILING THEY STATED THEY FOUND NO EVIDENCE THAT THE TUB UPSTAIRS WAS LEAKING, MAINTANENCE STATED THEY EXPECTED TO FIND THE DRYWALL SATURATED BUT IT WAS NOT, THEY PRESENTLY HAVE THE DRYWAL PATCH APPROXIMATELY 4 FT X 5 FT SCREWED IN PLACE BUT WILL NOT TAPE AND TEXTURE UNTIL THEY CAN CLEAN OUT THE TUB UPSTAIRS AND CHECK FOR LEAKS. OCCUPANT IN 202 HAS MOVED BACK IN BUT NOT NOTICED ANY LEAKING PRIMARILY BECAUSE THE OCCUPANT HAS NOT BEEN AT HIS APARTMENT. I DID EXPLAIN THAT THE MAINTANENCE PEOPLE WOULD NEED TO BE BACK TO TAPE. TEXTURE AND PAINT THE PATCH. I GAVE HER MY CARD AND ASKED SHE CONTACT ME IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS. WORK IS IN PROGRESS WITH LIMITATIONS FROM OCCUPANT IN 206 NOT COOPERATING. |
