07/16/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, ADDRESS IS FOR A TRAILER PARK, THERE IS NO TRAILER SPACE NUMBER ON THE COMPLAINT FORM. I DID TRY CONTACTING THE OCCUPANTS PHONE BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER. WILL TRY AGAIN. SEE 2ND INITIAL INSPECTION.
07/16/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved I WAS CONTACTED BY THE COMPLAINTANT AND NOT TOO LONGER AFTER RETURNED TO THE PROPERTY. I MET WITH THE OCCUPANTS WHO WERE PRESENTLY LIVING WITH HIS MOTHER AT THE TRAILER NEXT DOOR. I WAS ALLOWED INSIDE THE TRAILER, FOUND THE ROOF COVERING HAD BEEN REMOVED EVIDENCED BY THE ROOFING MATERIALS AND PLYWOOD FOUND ON THE GROUND IN TWO DIFFERENT AREAS NEXT TO THE TRAILER. THE ROOF WAS TARPED BUT MOSTLY HAD BLOWN OFF. INSIDE THE TRAILER I FOUND THE THE PANELING ON THE CEILING AND WALLS WAS WATER DAMAGED AND PULLING AWAY FROM THE CEILING AND WALLS, YOU COULD SEE DAYLIGHT THRU THE CEILING IN MULTIPLE PLACES. THE FLOOR WAS ALSO BUCKLED IN THE REAR BEDROOM AREA. THERE WERE MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING, ISSUES THRU OUT THE TRAILER, THE HOTWATER HEATER HAD BEEN SETTING ON THE GROUND AND NO COVERING. ALL WINDOWS HAD BEEN TAPED SHUT OR CRANK WINDOWS NOT WORKING AT ALL. THE DOORS ALSO WERE NOT LOCKING PROPERLY. MUCH OF THE OCCUPANTS PERSONAL BELONGINGS HAD ALSO BEEN RUINED BY THE LEAKING ROOF. THERE WERE OVER 30 ISSUES I HAD FOUND THRU OUT THE TRAILER. MORE WAS WRONG WITH THE TRAILER THN THERE WAS OK WITH THE TRAILER. I HAD DECIDED TO CONDEMN THE TRAILER AND FIRST CONTACTED SUPERVISOR MARTIN ROMERO. WENT OVER MANY OF THE ISSUES WITH MARTIN WHO CONFIRMED THAT CONDEMNING THE TRAILER WAS THE SAFEST ROUTE TO GO. I MADE CONTACT WITH THE PROPERTY MAINTANENCE PERSON, WHO IN TURN CONTACTED THE OWNER AND INFORMED HIM THE TRAILER WAS BEING CONDEMNED AND OWNER WAS ASKED TO CONTACT THE INSPECTOR. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL.
A EMERGENCY NOTICE TO VACATE THE TRAILER WAS ISSUED AND SIGNED FOR BY THE MAINTANENCE PERSON. A COPY WAS GIVEN TO THE OWNER/ MAINTANENCE AND TO THE OCCUPANTS. OCCUPANTS ALSO TOOK PICTURES OF MY COPY OF THE NOTICE AND THE NOTES TAKEN OF ALL ISSUES FOUND IN THE TRAILER. A PLACARD WAS POSTED ON THE TRAILER "DO NOT ENTER, UNFIT TO OCCUPY". AGAIN THE OCCUPANTS ARE CURRENTLY STAYING WITH THE OCCUPANTS MOTHER NEXT DOOR. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
