Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a kitchen fire. Arrived and the units were still on site. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause of the fire. The occupant was being transported for injuries from a fall in the kitchen area. Appenttly the occupant was cleaning and the rag he was using caught fire on the counter under the kitchen cabinets when he fell. The fire was contained to the kitchen area burning the cabinets, the wall and ceiling area and holes were made in the walls to check for extension of the fire in the walls and ceiling. A pair of outles were damage in the fire and appear to be GFCI outlets. Near the ceiling on the east side appears to have a clock outlet that also has been damaged. The ceiling light has smoke and heat damage. Has a large wire where the hole was made in the wall amd may be to the sub-panel in the hallway. Has light smoke damage to the other parts of the unit and no smoke detectors. The electrical and the gas has been removed at the meter. There is no one on site and the paperwork was posted on the rear of the unit. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the rear window. RV. |
