Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units were cleaning up and leaving the site. The fire investigator was on site and checking for cause. The gas was removed with no permit required to be turned back on once the electrical turned back on. The electrical was removed due to the damage of the subpanel in the garage with the wiring burned and the main electrical was not labeled. The fire damage was contained to the garage only and the house has no fire damage. The owners will not remain in the house due to lacking the electrical and the gas. The owners have a place to stay at this time and will call the insurance at day light hours. The wood framing has charring on the studs, rafters, sheathing, and the garage door was damaged when forced opened to fight the fire. No vent hole made on the roof. The owner signed the paperwork and than left the site. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and the owner secured the house. RV. |
