03/24/2021 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, LOCATED THE APT WITHIN THE VERY LARGE COMPLEX. A BLACK FORD MUSTANG HAD ENTERED A EXTERIOR COLUMN ON THE EAST END OF THE FRONT PORCH. THE COLUMN WAS FRAME STUCCO AND THE CAR HIT IN THE AREA OF A 3' FOAM POP OUT ABSORBING SOME OF THE HIT BUT DOING SOME DAMAGE TO THE STUCCO AT THE BASE AND THERE WAS A GOOD SIZE CRACK AT THE 8 FT MARK. THE COLUMN WAS APPROX 6 FT WIDE, IT WAS NOT MOVED AT THE BASE OF THE STRUCTURE AND APPEARED TO BE INTACT AND HELD TOGETHER BY THE STUCCO, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DETERMINE IF THERE WERE ANY DAMAGED STUDS INSIDE THE COLUMN OR IF THERE WAS STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. I MET WITH THE OCCUPANT TO CHECK THE INTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE AND FOUND THERE WAS NO DAMAGE, CRACKING, OR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE INSIDE. CAR WAS REMOVED BY GARY'S TOWING AT THE REQUEST OF TPD. CAR WAS LOADED AND BEING TAKEN AWAY AT THE TIME OF MY ARRIVAL. A NOV WAS ISSUED TO MANAGEMENT TO MAKE ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS TO THE COLUMN. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
