03/02/2021 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Communication called that T.F.D. or T.P.D. was not able to respond to the building that was hit by a vehicle. Arrived and the vehicle has taken off from the scene. The vehicle hit the east side of the building pushing the wood frame wall in the womens bathroom. The exterior has a wainscot stone layer wall on top of a stucco wall with plywood shearing. The interior of the wall was drywall with ceramic tile on the top of the drywall. 3-wood studs are pushed off the bottom plate and 2 are broken at the bottom. There is no electrical in the wall and has a door panel on the exterior and not sure if for water. No water was leaking at this time. The toilets are OK and the partition are OK in the womens bathroom. The top rail did not push the wall on the oppsite side and no damage to the men bathroom. The womens bathroom will be closed at this time and if the contractor can make the bathroom useable once the area has been cleaned up and the wood studs replaced the bathroom can be used on one side. The manager was on site and signed the paperwork. The management will secure the area once they close the store and the doorway was taped off with caution tape to not be used. The business will remain opened. Took pictures. RV. |
