Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire and going to a second structure. Arrived and the units were still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. The fire was in the rear of the house and had a wood frame porch and that was a total lost. Approx. 10' x 10'. The fire burned into the house through a door and burned the rear storage room, kitchen, dinning room, family room and went to the hallway. Has heavy smoke damage through out the house. Cut vent holes in the roof in several areas. The roof has 2-different roof systems and the fire was in-between the 2-roofs and was not able to get to the gap to spray the fire out. The electrical and gas were removed at the meter due to the amount of damage. The water was left on. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork and gave permission to have the property secured. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured in the rear of the house. The Redcross was coming to the site for assistance for the family. The property just had a permit finaled and still moving items around in the house. The wires were cut at the pole and meter removed. RV. |
