02/28/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a min. housing condition and elecctrical issues. Arrvied and the units were still on site. I have been on this property before. The son has been taken to jail for shooting a pistol inside the mobile home. The mobile home has no electrical due to the meter has been off for some time. No gas to the mobile home due to the meter has been pinned. The owner of the property is not being determine due to the person saying they own the mobile home is not listed as the owner. The listed owner is in Mexico due to deportation and has not been seen for some time on the property. No able to make contact with the person I met on site or the listed owner. The person I met on site was advised if was called by T.P.D. that the mobile home will be boarded up. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the mobile home secured when met on site to check the mobile home. The mobile home has been cleared and all was secured. Will leave the paperwork on the door. Will be posted of Do Not Enter in several areas. All the neighbors have been told to call T.P.D. if someone on the property. Will try and check on the ownership of the property. The electrical panel has been pulled apart due to all the breakers are out and hanging, the light fixtures are missing and has exposed wiring on the outlets and switches. Has broken windows and the side door not able to secure due to the door is to small and the door knob is not catching the striker plate. RV.
02/10/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner at the site and check the interior of the mobile home. They are in the process of placing the lights back up where missing, adding the smoke detectors, cleaning the interior of the mobile home, has a blocked window and door and those will be replaced and the plywood removed and has access issues at the electrical panel. The service panel has a masonry wall that blocks the service panel and hard to open the door and work on the panel. Did go over the clearance to have the proper clearance to the service panel. Did go over that the permits will be required to get the gas and the electrical back on and will have to correct the issues given before the inspection. The owner will get the permit and call for the inspection. Did go over on no one can stay in the mobile home at this time. Will check in 10 days. RV.
