01/11/2021 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, KNOCKED ON FRONT DOOR, MET WITH THE OWNER AND PERSON HANGING THE CABINETS. CABINET CONTRACTOR EXPLAINED THAT THE OWNER RECENTLY BOUGHT THE HOUSE, HAS PAINTED, RETILED AND REMOVED THE OLD CABINETS AND IS REPLACING WITH NEW, HE ALLOWED ME TO WALK THE INTERIOR AND I FOUND NOTHING THAT REQUIRED PERMITS. I ASKED IF THEY WERE BUILDING IN THE REAR, THE OWNER EXPLAINED THAT THEY HAVE DONE THE SAME THING, NEW PAINT, TILE AND CABINETS. WE WALKED TO THE BACK, I FOUND THE BUILDING WAS EXISTING AND THEY WERE ONLY REMODELING THE MAIN STRUCTURE AND EXISTING QUEST HOUSE. THE OLD CABINETS WERE STILL IN THE COMMON AREA BETWEEN THE STRUCTURES, THERE WAS A 30 YARD DUMPSTER ON SIGHT AND THEN I FOUND OWNER WAS REPLACEING THE ROTTED SIDING ON THE EXISTING STORAGE AREA, RAFTERS MATCHED THE PORCH AND CARPORT AND PAINT COLOR WAS THE SAME, I HAD NO ISSUES. THERE WAS NO NEW CONSTRUCTION. THERE WAS NOTHING THAT REQUIRED PERMITS, THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
