Thrall Codes: Unified Development Code (UDC) Sign Standards 7A, National Electric Code (NEC), Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC), International Building Code 2018 (IBC) 1) Site contains another user, a storage facility, with an existing freestanding sign. To add a second monument sign requires a review under the Sign Design Review Committee (SDRC), to vary Scenic Corridor Zone District criteria of 7A.11.3, to have a maximum of two freestanding signs on a premise with less than 850' of street frontage along a scenic route. 2) Understood sign would be within height allowance (10') for a monument sign. 3) Understood sign would be within both setbacks required: A) 20' minimum setback from face of curb to leading edge of sign B) 7.5' minimum setback from property line to leading edge of sign 4) Understood sign would be no greater than 35 square feet of sign area, as it would be located within the scenic buffer, meeting code. 5) Provide night view to show light is to be emitted solely from text/characters, with background to be opaque. 6) NEC / OLC: A) List volts B) List amps C) List circuits D) Provide timer and list where located E) Provide information on where dedicated circuit and lockout would be, and where power panel would be kept F) Provide clarification on how power would be run to the sign (separate electrical permit/by others?)
