Resubmittal - 2nd review
Reviewer: H. Thrall

1) Package shows removal and relocation of a monument sign from Broadway frontage to Arcadia, a local street.
7A.10.2.C - for each sign placed on a local street front, the equal number of allowed signs shall be reduced from the adjacent Arterial/Collector street (Broadway). Only one sign is permitted for this premise, either on Broadway, or on Arcadia. Revise submittal.
**Submittal shows two monuments proposed still, one arterial one on local. To continue submit for an SDRC review for an SSDO.** (See design criteria and findings of 7A.7.1. and review design.)

2) For digital message center monument sign along Broadway:
A) ID method of dimming and show on sign cabinet (i.e. light sensor)
B) not clear - show - how digital cabinet is mounted to static sign cabinet (is it an insert inside a larger cabinet frame or is it a separate cabinet?)
C) Clarify if double faced digital system - with a master and mirror unit function so both sides of the sign to read the same at all times.
D) Add note on plan - "the sign will not have any animation and will change a maximum of one time per minute, in one movement"

3) A) Revise copy on the Broadway monument sign - no sign may advertise spiritous liquor service in a C-1 zone along streets (UDC 4.9.4.V.6.)

4) Clarify how sign support is mounted to cabinetry - if any field welds or shop welds? (Welding noted on sheet 2.) Field welds require engineered plans and special inspection certificates.
