DURING THE PROCESS OF TRANSFERRING A MOBILE HOME INTO THE PARK, THE HIRED TRANSPORT VEHICLE STRUCK A GAS UTILITY LINE ON THE PROPERTY. THESE PROPERTIES ARE MASTERED METER BY SOUTH WEST GAS CORPORATION. THE OWNER OF THE COMMUNITY HAS CHOSEN TO NOT REINSTATE THE UTILITY AND INSTEAD IS HAVING THE AFFECTED UNITS CONVERTED TO PROPANE BY PIONEER PLUMBING. PIONEER PLUMBING HAS IDENTIFIED 13 UNITS FROM THE 33 THAT UTILIZED THE GAS UTILITY FOR THEIR APPLIANCES. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM PIONEER PLUMBING HAS STATED THEY ARE REPLACING THE ORIFICES. 7 MOBILE HOMES FROM THE 13 HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONVERTED TO PROPANE. AT THIS TIME NO PERMITS HAVE BEEN OBTAINED FOR THIS CONVERSION PROJECT. CODE ENFORCEMENT WILL BE ISSUING A NOTICE OF VIOLATION TO OBTAIN PERMITS FOR THE ABOVE WORK.
