| 12/28/2020 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Arrived on site and met with Tucson Fire. They stated Charles the owner was taken by ambulance to the hospital and the wife Adele is still at the property. They were concerned with the hoarder situation that was inside the house. Was able to make contact with Adele the wife of the owner from the back of the property who I asked to meet me in the front. She stated her husband was taken to the hospital and has no idea what’s going on. I asked her about Utilities where she stated they do not have water to the property and have not had water for sometime. They do have electricity and gas. Adele let me take a photo of the front room which was stacked from floor to ceiling and does not have egress, cannot check any of the electrical outlets due to the high amount of storage inside the house. Front porch was also loaded from floor to ceiling with storage and electrical cords running throughout the ceiling area. Extension cords running from front porch area to a refrigerator in the front yard. Rear porch also loaded from floor to ceiling and extension cords running throughout. Storage in front yard side yard and rear yard of this property. Made phone contact with my supervisor and gave him a read on the situation. It was agreed-upon to condemn this property due to no egress in the interior, no water to the structure, and hazardous electrical in this hoarder house which is a huge fire load. TEP will be called to cut power or boot the meter. TC three medical for Tucson fire was also called in Chris Don to assist with placement of the wife of the owner Adele Boyle at the hospitality house (Salvation Army). Sunvan was called to transport. |
