| 11/19/2020 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Office called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and were starting to clean up. The fire investigator was on site checking for cause. The fire was more of a content fire with no structual damage to the building. The room has smoke damage and a cracked glass on the window from the heat of the fire. Appears that the room may have been used for storage for maintenance due to has tools on the floor and furniture. Has other damage to other rooms to check for fire extension or water damage from going through the wall. All the electrical was off to the buildings and was working on getting the electrical back on the rooms with no damage. Has switch gears and breaker panels in a room that are not able to enter due to the amount of storage in the room. Southwest Gas was on site and are not able to get to the boilers to re-light or check if operable. The items were removed and placed in a common area in the front of the room. Moved enough of the items to get to the boilers and the electrical panels. Southwest Gas was able to light one boiler and not able to light the second boiler. The manager was given paperwork from Southwest Gas to have it checked by a plumber. All the electrical was turned back on and did check with the people staying in the units and all are OK at this time. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. The manager was on site and signed the paperwork. Once the investigation was completed and the manager was securing the unit. There is no placement due to the room was for storage for maintenance.
