Inspector Juan Valdez called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units were still on site and was in the process of cleaning up. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire started from the exterior in the grass and burned into the house. The fire was at the rear of the house and burned the bay window that was mounted to the wall with a window. The interior has smoke damage and has a hole where the bay window burned. The roof was vented in 2 areas and also self vented due to the fire on the overhang by the bay window. The house was vacant and unsecured at the time of the fire. The yard has been cleaned and appears to have had a tractor on site. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured due to not able to locate the owner. Was not able to leave messages due to the mail box was filled. While doing the board up, one of the owners called and was advised of the fire and that the house was being secured. Did do the posting on the front door area and place placards of Do Not Enter in several areas. Have been this site several time due unsecured house or a fire. The interior of the house has items that appear that a child is staying in the house. Did find sleeping items in different areas. The owner never called back. Did talk to the supervisor Martin Romero on placing on the demo list. RV. |
