They were in the process of looking for the driver of the vehicle due to not on site. Had a small pickup truck hit the east side of the house and drove into the living room area. Had a sitting room area added to the front of the house and damage the wood framing with the wall on the south side a total lost. The wall on the east has been pushed off the foundation. The exterior walls has vinyl horizonal lap siding and the interior had drywall with insulation on 2 x 4 walls. Approx. 16 l.f. x 9' high. The corner stud has been broken. Has a masonry wall on the interior of the house with a doorway and that wall has been removed. That wall separated the living room from the sitting room. The fire place was masonry and the east side of the fire place has been damaged. The lintel for the brick veneer and the lintel for the damper are both loose and lacking the supports on the east side. The fire place will need to be check and re-done. The living room is filled with the debris from the masonry wall and broken items that were in the house. The roof has holes in the roof covering where the mail box was found on the roof and some metal from the post were embedded into the roof. Did let the owner know that the roof has holes and he will patch the holes. The owner not able to secured the house and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the area secured. Was blocking the living room and the sitting room off to allow the owners to remain in the house. The front door was screwed shut to not allow anyone into the living room area and also the sliding glass door was boarded up to prevent entry into the living room area. The owner has a rear door into a bedroom area and a door that goes into the laundry room area and both allow entry into the house with out going into the living room area. The owner has no insurance and will try and find the owner of the vehicle that hit the house to pay for the damage. The house was not posted due to the owners will remain in the house.
