THE FRONT SOUTHERN STRUCTURE CLOSEST TO 28TH ST APPEARS TO BE A CHURCH AND IS BEING OCCUPIED BY AN UNKNOWN PERSON WITHOUT ACTIVE UTILITIES. THE CHURCH ROOF MEMBERS ARE IN A DILAPIDATED STATE IN NEED OF REPAIR AND/OR REPLACEMENT. THE INTERIOR ELECTRICAL HAS BEEN CANNIBALIZED, THE STRUCTURES WALLS SHOWS SIGNS OF DILAPIDATION FROM THE DAMAGE ROOF ALLOWING THE WEATHER TO CAUSE FURTHER DAMAGE. THE INSIDE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE CHURCH BUILDING WAS A CONTENT FIRE THAT CAUSED WALL AND CEILING SMOKE DAMAGE THROUGH OUT. FIRE DID NOT MAKE CONTACT TO THE ATTIC SPACING. THE SECOND STRUCTURE AT THE NORTH END OF THE PROPERTY AWAY FROM 28TH ST HAS BEEN COMPLETELY GUTTED FROM PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL. THERE ARE METAL STUDS BEING FASTENED TO THE EXISTING WALLS AND ROOF MEMBERS. ALL MECHANICAL DUCTING HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM BOTH OF THE STRUCTURES. THERE ARE NO CURRENT PERMITS OR APPROVALS FOR ANY IMPROVEMENTS ON THE PROPERTY. BOTH STRUCTURES ARE IN A HEAVILY DILAPIDATED STATE IN NEED OF REPAIR UNDER PERMITS FROM THE CITY OF TUCSON. OWNER STATED HE WILL HAVE THE STRUCTURE SECURED WITHIN 24HRS, BOTH STRUCTURES HAS BEEN POSTED UNFIT TO OCCUPY. OWNER IS AWARE IF NOT SECURED WITHIN 24 HRS CITY CONTRACTOR WILL BE CALLED TO SECURE 14 WINDOWS AND 3 DOORS. NOTICE AND ORDER HAS BEEN POSTED AT THE FRONT DOOR ENTRANCE OF THE CHURCH, BOTH STRUCTURES POSTED UNFIT TO OCCUPY DO NO ENTER DUE TO OWNER OUT OF TOWN. RV. |

Arrived and the units was cleared up and had a content fire in the northeast end of the building. The building was vacant and has no roof covering and leaks on the roof when it rains. There is no drywall, insulation, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and has 2-structures on the property. The windows are missing on both buildings and in different areas and the building is opened on the doors to both buildings. They were not forced opened when the fire started. All the utilities are off at this time to both buildings. Does have some material in the rear building and appears to be new plumbing pipes. Did make contact with the owner on the building and he will be securing the building. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the building secured and did have to call them back to cancell due to the owner called after I had called Arcaiden Industries when not able to locate the owner. Did the posting on the front door due to the owner was out of town. RV. |
