09/06/2020 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a car into the house. Arrived and the units were clearing. The vehicle hit the masonry wall on the property line at the rear of the property. The block hit the house from impact in several areas and making holes in the wood frame wall with stucco. Did break the window in the master bedroom. The owner was not able to secure the house and gave permission to have the property secured. The owner was talking to the insurance company and will check the site during day light hours. At this time was not able to find damage to the interior of the house and told the owner to check the walls and ceilings at daylight hours if there is any cracking in the corners of the drywall. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the window secured. Called Biff Baker Fence to the site to have the rear wall secured due to the wall is not stable and the owner has a pool. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork on site. The hose bibb in the rear of the house was snapped off where the fittings connect to the the fittings for the hose bibb. The water was turned off at the valve to the house until repaired at daylight hours. The owner will be able to stay in the house once the water line is repaired. The insurance has got a room for the owner for a few nights. RV. |
