Arrived and the tenant was not on site and had a friend on site and was allowed to check the unit. The thermostat was turned on and no cool air was coming out. There was no push from the vents of air coming out. The room temprature was from 88 degrees to to 91 degrees at different locations at 4:30 PM. The management was not on site and called the phone number with no answer. Was able to leave messages on several phone number to call back. Did call the emergency phone number and again no answer and did leave messages on a couple of phone numbers. Due to no call back and the record heat the unit was condemned at this time. Did talk to the tenant on why the unit was being condemned and she was OK with the explaination. The friend on site signed the paperwork on site due to the tenant was far from the site. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. The unit has hoarding and did let the friend know that will have to be addressed before getting back into the unit. They will be gone by dark.
