11/13/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Nothing has been done on the carport built in the rear yard. Plastic has been installed to protect the plywood from the rain. The owner has no made contact with the owner of the other property next door and has written a letter and waiting for the response. No permit has been applied for and the owner is waiting for the neighbors to respond before applying for the permit. Will check in 45 days. RV.
09/29/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the tenants next door and looked on the carport area and the wall was built or appears to be built on the neighboring property. A chain link fence was removed and the wall was placed in line with the chain link fencing removed. No survey was done and the owner did not talk to the owners of the property next door. The owner talk to a worker for next door thinking it was OK to build on the fence line where removed. Did talk to the owner about getting with the neighbor on what can be done or if the structure has to be removed. In talking to the tenants for next door, the gates are not able to put back up at the alley and the the gate next to the house has nothing to put back the fabric by the house. The owner is going to talk to the neighbor on what can be agreed on and will call me back. The follow up date will be kept of 10-21-2020. RV.
