UPON ARRIVAL I FOUND TPD FOUND POOR LIVING CONDITIONS AND CALLED FOR C/E ASSISTANCE. SO WHILE ON SITE I COMPLETED THE INSPECTION FOR A HOARDING SITUATION. I FOUND TRASH AND DEBRIS THRU OUT THE UNIT, FOOD THAT HAD BEEN EATEN AND LEFT TO ROT. THERE WAS ALOT OF ROTTED FOOD. THE KITCHEN HAD DISHES LEFT IN THE SINK AND ON THE COUNTER TOPS. PATHWAYS WERE DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE. THERE WAS NO CONTACT FOR SCOTIA GROUP MANAGEMENT AND TOO EARLY TO CALL. A NOV WAS ISSUED FOR INTERIOR SANITATION. WITH ONLY 48 HRS TO REMOVE THE TRASH AND DEBRIS FROM THE STRUCTURE. I EXPLAINED THAT I WOULD FOLLOW UP TODAY JUST TO SEE THE PROGRESS CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE MANAGER WHO STATED THAT MAINTANENECE HAD INFORMED HER OF THE ISSUE. THE OCCUPANTS ROOMMATE JUST MOVED OUT AND I INFORMED MONICA THAT THE ROOMMATES ROOM WAS EQUALY AS BAD AS THE REST OF THE APARTMENT. I ASKED MONICA HOW SHE WOULD HANDLE THE SITUATION IF THE UNIT WAS NOT COMPLETELY CLEANED. SHE STATED SHE WOULD ISSUE A FIVE DAY NOTICE OF EVICTION FOR UNSANITARY APARTMENT. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EVICT, MANAGER STATED SHE WOULD GO BY AND INSPECT TODAY. |
