The new owner is in the process to sell as is and if not sold in 2-months will take off the market and make the repairs and than sell as a remodled house. The temp. fencing has been called in to be picked up and took the locks off the fencing. The property should be done today and the sign is up to sell. At this time the case will be closed. 05/05/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The neighbor sent a text that the owner is in the house and has removed plywood from the windows. Arrived and the owner was inside the house and he stated that he sold the house and was given time to remove items out of the house. I did let him know that he is trespassing and will need to leave the site soon. I did ask who bought the house and he didn't know. I did give a card to give to the realtor to call me or the new owners of the property. The owner was advised that I would come back and secure the house after 1:00 pm. Did walk around and found the door to the storage room where the plywood has been pulled off the opening and windows were pull off on the house and the owner said for light. The owner was told to leave as soon as possible. RV.
12/23/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The office called that the property is opened in the rear and someone on the property. Arrived and the property is vacant and secured. Did go into the property through the front gate and all is secured and found no signs of the owner staying on the property. The property is not cleaned and the posting of Do Not Enter are still in place on the property in several areas. At this time all is secured and still vacant. RV.
11/27/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site to check the property. The front of the property was secured on the house and the fencing added to the existing fencing. Did check the rear of the property through the alley and found where the north side of the fencing has been opened and the existing fencing has been cut opened. Did go inside the property to check the site and found the rear building being used for storage of bike parts opened at the door. Was able to resecured the door while on site and placed wire on the temp fencing to secure the rear of the property. The posting of Do Not Enter are still in place through out the house and the owner was not found on the site. Nothing has been done to clean the property and the vehicle is still in the rear of the property. Still waiting for the court date. RV.
