UNIT #3 STILL REQUIRES DRYWALL ON THE CEILING, THE INSULATION REMAINS INSIDE THE UNIT. CONTACTED PROPERTY MANAGER, REQUESTING A COMPLETION DATE, HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.
11/09/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND EXTERIOR OF THE UNITS CLEANED UP AND THE DUMPSTER AREA CLEAN AS WELL IN BETWEEN THE UNITS WAS CLEANED FREE OF GRASS AND WEEDS. CHECKED UNIT #1 AND FOUND DRYWALL WAS COMPLETED, TEXTURED AND PAINTED, NICE JOB. ALSO FOUND THAT UNIT #3 HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED ALTHOUGH THE INSULATIONS IS INSIDE THE UNIT. MAYBE READY TO GET STARTED. CONTACTED PROPERTY MANAGER WHO STATED SHE HAS GOTTEN A 2ND NOV FROM INSPECTOR GONZALEZ WHICH IS WHY THE CLEANING OF THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN COMPLETED. I ASKED THAT THE DRYWALL BE COMPLETED SO THAT THE CASE CAN BE CLOSED. MANAGER STATED THEY WOULD GET THAT DONE.
10/23/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved RECEIVED CALL FROMTHE PROPERTY MANAGER STATING THAT SHE DID MOVE FORWWARD WITH FINDING SOME ONE TO COMPLETE THE DRYWALL AND WILL BEGIN ON 10/24/2020

CONTACTED PROPERTY MANAGERS WHO STATED THEY STILL HAVE NOT REPLACED THE MAINTANENECE PEOPLE THEY HAD LET GO AND DID NOT LOOK AT THIS AS A PRIORITY BECAUSE THEY HAD HOUSED BOTH OCCUPANTS AND THEY HAVE RECEIVED NO COMPLAINTS FROM THE OCCUPANTS. PROPERTY MANAGER STATED SHE WOULD TRY TO GET SOME ONE OUT HERE NEXT WEEK AND WOULD CALL AND CONFIRM WHEN WORK IS TO BEGIN

SPOKE WITH THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY COPPER RIDGE ROOFING WHO STATED HE CALLED AND TALKED TO CLAYTON T. AFTER RECEIVED AN EMAIL THEY WERE BEHIND ON ISSUING PERMITS, HE READ TO ME THE EMAIL AND THEN STATED HE HAS NOT HAD ANY RESPONSE SINCE EVEN THOUGH HE CONTACTED CLAYTON A 2ND TIME. C/E HAS PUSHED PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET PROJECT STARTED EARLY AND THEY HAVE STARTED ONE WEEK EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. NOW WEARE ASKING TO STOP WORK. MARTIN ASKED IF I COULD CALL CLAYTON AND FIND OUT IF WORK COULD CONTINUE.
I CONTACTED AND SPOKE WITH CLAYTON WHO ASKED IF THIS WAS COPPER RIDGE ROOFING. I TOLD HIM IT WAS, EXPLAINED ALL CIRCUMSTANCES START TO PRESENT AND CLAYTON GAVE THE OK FOR WORKERS TO MOVE FORWARD WITH WORK, BUT ASKED THAT THEY TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING THAT IS COMPLETED BEFORE AND AFTER SO WHEN IT CAME TIME TO ISSUE A PERMITTHERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEMS ISSUING THE PERMIT. THE MESSAGE WAS PASSED ON TO MIKE, SUPERINTENDANTAND JULI0 FOREMAN. MARTIN WAS ALSO CONTACTED AND INFORMED. .
08/11/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved ON 8/11 I MET WITH 1 OF 3 MANAGERS. NAN STATED THE MANAGER I HAD BEEN WORKING WITH WAS NOT IN BUT SHE COULD HELP ME. GAVE HER MY PAST INFORMATION FOR THE PROPERTY AND EXPLAINED WE WERE ISSUING A NOV TO TRY AND HURRY THE PROCESS ALONG . NOV WAS HAND DELIVERED AND SIIGNED FOR BY NAN B.
LATER IN THE AFTERNOON I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM NAN STATING THE ROOFING COMPANY WAS NOT SCHEDULED TO START UNTIL SEPT. 1ST THAT THEY WOULD REACH OUT TO OTHER COMPANIES THAT SUBMITTED BIDS TO SEE IF THEY COULD START SOONER, BUT ONCE THE ROOF WAS COMPLETED, THE INTERIOR DRYWALL AND PAINT WOULD BE REPAIRED.
08/04/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved I REVISITED THE SITE, AND FOUND THE ROO REMAINED TARPED. I CONTACTED PROPERTY MANAGER AND ASKED WHAT THE STATUS WAS. SHE STATED THEY WERE MEETING WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY AS WE SPOKE AS IT WAS DECIDED TO PUT A CLAIM IN WITH THE INSURANCE. SHE FELT THAT THE ROOFERS WERE TO BEGIN ON THE FOLLOWING MON - TUES.
