07/14/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TFD WHO HAD PUT THE MAJORITY OF THE FIRE OUT BUT BECAUSE OF HIGH WINDS WERE DEALING WITH HOTSPOTS AND FLARE UPS THRU OUT THE CEILING AND FLOOR OF THE TRAILER, TAKING ADDITIONAL TIME TO FULLY PUT THE FIRE OUT. FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
>FIRE ORIGINATED AT THE CARPORT DOOR LEADING INTO THE LAUNDRY ROOM. CARPORT AWNING WAS APPROX 50 % FIRE DAMAGED. DOUBLE TOP PLATE OF THE TRAILER AND AND RAFTER ENDS WERE FIRE DAMAGED AND CONNECTIONS FROM THE CARPORT TO THE TRAILER WERE ALSO FIRE DAMAGED.
>LAUNDRY ROOF WAS A TOTAL LOSS, WALLS, CELING AND FLOOR WERE FIRE DAMAGED. ELECTRICAL SERVICE PANEL WAS ALSO LOCATED IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM.
>BREAKERS IN THE SERVICE PANEL WERE MELTED AND WIRING AND OUTLETS THRU OUT THE LAUNDRY WERE FIRE DAMAGED.
> KITCHEN AREA HAD CEILING DAMAGE, RAFTERS FIRE DAMAGED AND DRYWALL REMOVED. KITCHEN CABINETS WERE FIRE DAMAGED, AND APPLIANCES ALL FIRE DAMAGED. ELECTRICAL IN THE KITCHEN ALSO FIRE DAMAGED.
>THERE WAS SOME FIRE DAMAGE TO THE LIVINGROOM AREA, MOSTLY CONTENTS. DRYWALL WAS FIRE DAMAGED
> THE TWO NORTH BEROOMS WERE HEAVILY SMOKE DAMAGED AND WATER DAMAGED, THE HALL BATHROOM HAD SOME FIRE DAMAGE VERY HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE AND WATER DAMAGE AS WELL.
> THE SOUTH BEDROOM HAD HEAVY SMOKE AND WATER DAMAGE.
>PLUMBING LINES BENEATH THE FLOOR GOING TO THE WASHER DRYER ROOM AND TO THE HOTWATER HEATER ROOM MAY HAVE BEEN FIRE DAMAGED BUT WE WERE UNABLE TO GET BELOW THE TRAILER TO INVESTIGATE, BUT WERE IN AN AREA THAT FIRE WAS PUT OUT AND WATER LINES WERE IN THAT AREA.
>ARCADIAN WAS CONTACTED TO SECURE A DOOR AND TWO WINDOWS.
> NOV WAS ISSUED BUT THERE WAS NO ONE ON SITE TO SIGN FOR THE NOV. OWNER OF THE PARK WAS CONTACTED TO DETERMINE WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING THE TRAILER AS OWNER MAY HAVE NO INSURANCE AT THIS TIME. OWNER STATED SHE WOULD NEED TO MEET WITH THE OWNERS THE FOLLOWING DAY.
>NOV AND PLACARD POSTED ON THE FRONT OF THE TRAILER NEARST THE STREET. PLACARD READ "DO NOT ENTER, UNFIT TO OCCUPY". EMERGENCY VACATE NOV INCLUDED PERMITS REQUIRED FOR REPAIR OR DEMOLITION OF THE TRAILER.
