The office called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were starting to clear. The fire investigators on site and checking for cause. The fire was on the rear of the building and burned in a corner where several unit are connected. The fire was at the back end of a horseshoe design of the units in the rear of the units. There was electrical meters and they were all burned. The wires were cut at the riser in the front of the units. The fire did break some windows and smoke got into the units. The fire did burned the wood frame overhang with wood siding panels underneath the overhang. The main structure is OK. The property does belong to the City of Tucson and going to be demo'ed soon. The rep. for the building was on site and no paperwork was done due to City owned and going to be demo'ed. The Rep. Frank gave permission to have the building secured due to not able to find anyone to come to the site a this time. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the building secured. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front of the buildings and the front doors were boarded up due to the force entry and damaged to the doors in the front. The gas was being removed at the meters due to the demo of the buildings. No water was on to the buildings. RV. |
