Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still on site but were in the process of cleaning up. The fire investigators were on site and the fire started on the exterior on the west side of the house. The fire enter the attic area and burned the trusses on a added area to an existing structure. The drywall was pulled down in several areas on the ceiling to check for the fire in the attic area. The electrical was removed a the meter with boots. The house was vacant and unsecured. The exterior walls were wood siding and has burning and some is missing to burned through the wall. The wood framing is exposed and has some charring on the ends and a channel has been burned in the area. The roof sheathing has some burning on the added section of the structure and has an area that burned through. Not able to find the owner and shows out of state. Windows and doors not able to secure and called Arcaiden Insustries to the site to have the property secured. Not sure if work is being done to repair the structure but is vacant with nothing in the structure. RV. |
