06/25/2020 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and all the units were still on site and was still an active fire. The fire was a metal building being used to store piping and other parts for the gas company. The building was in the middle of the property on Randolph Ave.by the rear gates. The metal building is a total lost due to heat damage to the metal and the siding is burned or bent from the heat of the fire. The building was not attached to the office space to the property. The material was used for emergency use and was a stock pile for emergency only. There was a switch gear by the gate and that was turned off at the breaker by T.E.P. and will require a reconnect for clearance before turned back on. Leo Quesada signed the paperwork and they will be securing the area once the hot spots have been checked and the overhaul is completed. They had backhoes and forklifts moving material to check for the hot spots. The company has called for more security to watch the gates that are opened at this time. RV. |
