06/23/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved The office called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire on the 11th floor. Arrived and all the units were still on site. The fire was contained to the unit # 1131 in the bathroom area. The building is still being constructed and the permit is current. Has heavy smoke damage to the area and the other area are still being worked on. The sprinkler head was missing the vial but the system was off to the floor due to the valve was off due to working on the floor and was turned off during the day and turned back on during the night. The area was not flooded and damaged to the lower floors due to water damage. The drywall on the ceiling was pulled down and holes made in the walls to check for fire in the areas. The supervisor for the contractor has stated that the area was cleaned and being completed as a finished room soon. The electrical was not on to the unit at this time due to not connected. No breakers to the electrical panel. At this time there will be no paperwork due to still under construction and the area has more smoke damage than fire damage. The vanity was burned and the piping for the toilet was burned on the top of the pipe and was lacking the toilet. The tub has been damaged and will need to be replaced. The bedroom will need some patching on the drywall where the holes were made to check for fire. The door jamb to the bathroom was damage and will need to be replaced. The flex in the bathroom will need to be check for heat damage where not burned. Has some water lines in P.V.C. that have bent from the heat and those will need to be checked. The fire system is being checked and being re-set. RV.
