Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrivved and the fire units were leaving the site and the fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire was in the living room and burned the walls and ceilings with heavy smoke damage through out. The wood framing on the walls and ceiling are OK. The electrical was removed at the breakers and has a city lock. The gas was pinned at the meter and will need a permit to have turned back on. The window in the living room has been burned and has broken glass. The flooring has water ponding from the fire being put out. The housing supervisor came to the site and was working on placement for the tenant. The supervisor gave permission to have the window and doors boarded up. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the house secured on all the openings. The supervisor signed the paperwork on site. The damage from the fire was contained to the living room area. The hallway has some heat damage to the smoke detectors and light fixtures. The Redcross was called to the site due to the tenant had no where to go. Once the supervisor showed to the site, he stated that he will be placing the tenant in a hotel through the City of Tucson. Had T.F.D. call the Redcross not to show up due to the City of Tucson will be doing the placement. RV. |
