05/03/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared the site. The fire was in the rear of the building where they were roasting green chiles. The fire was stored boxes of carboard boxes and plastic cases for plastic bottles. Did have some metal racks that filled with stored items. Did have 2-portable refrigerators that were not working and those were burned for a total lost. Did have large porpane tanks and those were not secured properly and were scattered all in the area. Has an outlet on the exterior that is not GFCI protected and lacking a bubble cover per code. Has trash and debris from the burned items and where the metal covering for the walk in freezer was pulled off to check for fire on the foam in the panels for the freezer. Pima County was on site to check the food and the area of the fire. Did have someone to check on the freezer if the freezer was working properly and maintaining the temperature for the freezer. At this time the freezer is maintaining temperature to remain being used. The store director was on site and signed the paperwork. Did go over the permits on the panels for the freezer. This area of the fire is by the cooling tower for the chillers for the store and the equipment for the food. The area will be secured and cleaned by the store employees. RV.
