THE EVICTION AND COURT PROCESS IS BEING HANDLED BY THE COURTS, BETWEEN THE OWNER/OCCUPANT AND SECTION 8 HAS A PART IN THIS SINCE THE OCCUPANT IS SECTION 8. I WILL CLOSE CASE ON THE ORIGINAL ISSUES. COMPLIANCE CLOSE CASE.
06/16/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved REVISITED SITE WITH TPD OFFICERS. FIRST I HAD FOUND THAT GRASS AND WEEDS HAD BEEN ABATED AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE STRUCTURE AND THE ABUTTING SIDEWALK AREAS.
OWNER HAD PROVIDED ALL PAPERWORK TO TPD FOR THE RENT, SEC 8 LEASE PAPERWORK SHOWING LEASE HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED AND OCCUPANT NEVER FOLLOWED THRU WITH FINDING A NEW APT. OWNER ALSO PROVIDED RECENT PAPERWORK FOR COURT. WILL BE REVISITING COURT ON 6/17/2020. TPD STATED THEY WOULD WARN TENANT IN 256, UNTIL COURTS MADE A DETERMINATION, THEN TPD MET WITH THE OCCUPANTS AND EXPLAINED THEY HAD NO CURRENT LEASE WITH SEC 8 OR THE OWNER AND WOULD NEED TO START THE MOVING PROCCES AND IF NEEDED THE OWNER WOULD NEED TO EVICT THE OCCUPANTS THRU THE COURT PROCESS. THE VISIT FROM TPD WAS CLEARLY INFORMATIONAL BUT THEY EXPRESSED THEY WOULD BE THE OFFICERS THAT WOULD CARRY OUT THE EVICTION PROCESS FOR THE OWNER. WILL FOLLOW UP THE WEEK OF 6/22/20
